November is Epilepsy Awareness Month and we are looking for 26 schools and businesses to host an Epilepsy Awareness (Dress Down) Day to help us spread awareness!
Did you know that 1 in 26 Americans
will develop epilepsy in their lifetime? That could include your family, friends, coworkers, and community members. Facing the daily challenges of living with seizures can feel isolating for people with epilepsy, but having the support from the community can make a huge difference!
Use the links below for tips on how to host a Dress Down Day at your school or business to raise awareness and funds to support the epilepsy community. Each link provides a letter and flyers that can be used to advertise your awareness day.
If you host an Epilepsy Awareness (Dress Down) Day, we encourage you to wear as much purple as possible and take pictures of your group! You can share photos with us and we may feature you in our newsletter or social media pages.
Thank
you
for supporting your community members who have
epilepsy and for allowing us the opportunity to offer support to the
community.
